When you were a kid did you ever hear the song called Dem Bones?
The lyrics followed a pattern similar to this:
“The toe bone connected to the foot bone; the foot bone connected to the heel bone; the heel bone connected to the ankle bone; the ankle bone connected to the shin bone; this bone is connected to that bone, etc., etc., etc.”
I sincerely missed connecting with you over the course of the past week or so!
There were reasons I was absent, legitimate ones most assuredly.
Two visits to the ER in the span of five days with several doctor visits on either side of the ER bookends led me on a whirlwind tour of our local healthcare providers.

Earl Nightingale, in his famous speech entitled, The Strangest Secret, once defined success as:
You will make known to me the Path of Life. In Your presence is fullness of joy and in Your right hand there are pleasures forever. (Psalms 16:11 NASB)
It’s always good to hear from old friends, especially those with whom one might have been “up close and personal”.
Reconnecting after a lapse of time can be a subtle reminder of care-free moments shared which are now relegated to our personal history book.
Doing so is also an inner appeal to make the effort to re-establish where possible certain relationships, making them a priority.
