The Magic of Prunes

Are you feeling a little sluggish today?    Do you feel a little stuck and not moving forward?  Is life cramping your style?  If so, I have good news for you.   Your solution might be found in the phrase, The Magic of Prunes! I repeated this phrase daily to our team while on a multi-day […]

Response to an Open Letter From the Rest of the World

Authors Note: I am participating in the Open Letter Challenge writing contest organized by Josh Irby. The following letter is my response to An Open Letter to You from the Rest of the World. Dear Rest of the World (ROTW), Your recent letter was such an encouragement to me.  I pray these simple, but heartfelt […]

The Power of a Seed Sown!

I came across this powerful video via  Josh Irby’s  website.  Josh currently lives in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina and is the author of Meeting Miss Irby.  We recently connected and have corresponded a few times.  A picture is worth more than a thousand words!

How can you look for the opportunity to do good to someone today?

A class like that is something of an academic dinosaur compared to the modern day […]

My Someday is Today!

There are times when life seems like a stream making its way through the contours of a riverbed, gently flowing over the rocks toward a larger tributary.  Time is marked by the passing minutes and hours with no sense of urgency to them. Have you ever experienced a time when the ride is wild and […]

A Beautiful Tomorrow

Personal Note:  I consider this my “vintage” blog post, long before blogging ever existed.  In the 1970’s, a song called “We’ve Only Just Begun” was made popular by Karen and Richard Carpenter, a brother – sister duo referred to as The Carpenters.  Although I will not record a MP3 and sing for you, this is […]
