		It’s Friday and we are going to detour a little and talk about food.</p>
<p>If breakfast is on your mind, maybe an omelet or bacon and eggs might suit you.</p>
<p>Perhaps you have a craving for a salad or wrap for lunch.</p>
<p>Dinner, or “<em>supper</em>” as it is referred to in my neck of the woods, offers endless possibilities.</p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #800000;"><em>Are you hungry for eggplant?  </em></span><span style="color: #800000;"><em>How do you like it prepared?</em></span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li><em>Deep fried?</em></li>
<li><em>In lasagna?</em></li>
<li><em>As the featured item in a salad?</em></li>
<li><span style="color: #800000;"><strong><em>Not at all? (My personal vote!)</em></strong></span></li>
</ul>
<p>Personally speaking, eating eggplant is like biting into a sponge – tasteless for sure!</p>
<p>If I was forced to choose, I would go the route of <a title="Eggplant Parmesan" href="http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/tyler-florence/eggplant-parmesan-recipe.html"><em>Eggplant Parmesan</em></a>.</p>
<p>At least the cheese and pasta sauce would serve as a disguise and hide the main attraction.</p>
<p>For a healthier version check <a title="Eggplant Parmesan" href="http://www.myhdiet.com/eggplant-parmesan/">this </a>out.</p>
<p>In my version of <strong><em>Eggplant Made Easy</em></strong>, check out this video clip as you head into your weekend &#8211; <strong><em><span style="color: #800000;">it’s time for a feel good story</span></em></strong>.</p>
<p>Hopefully, the interview will encourage you.  Below are a few sound bites:</p>
<ul>
<li><span style="color: #333333;"><strong><em>“His faith has often times gotten him through…He’s showing me “Hey, I’m real”.</em></strong></span></li>
<li><span style="color: #333333;"><strong><em>“You can cut a million eggplants and you will probably never see that again…God is..within us.  He has different ways of showing it within our lives.”</em></strong></span></li>
<li><span style="color: #333333;"><strong><em>“I don’t know what it means…all I know is it tells me…He real… and nothing else can change my mind about that!”</em></strong></span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="color: #800000;"><em><strong>Was God trying to get this man’s (or others) attention?</strong> </em></span></p>
<p>Maybe.</p>
<p>Maybe not.</p>
<p>I’ll defer to your judgment on the question.</p>
<p>One day while traveling for work, I had a similar experience. Nothing earth shattering.</p>
<p>To me, it was a simple reminder of His presence.</p>
<p>If you care to read it about it, you can do so <a href="http://www.48days.net/profiles/blogs/a-name-you-can-trust">here</a>.</p>
<p>A verse comes to mind:</p>
<p><span style="color: #800000;">“<em>Long ago <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>God spoke many times <span style="text-decoration: underline;">and</span> in many ways</strong></span> to our ancestors through the prophets.  <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>And now…He has spoken to us</strong> </span>through his Son” Hebrews 1:1-2 (NLT)</em></span></p>
<p>The way I see it &#8211; He speaks!</p>
<p><span style="color: #800000;"><strong><em>The real question is &#8211; are we listening?</em></strong></span></p>
<p><strong><em><span style="color: #800000;">Care to weigh in on this discussion? What do you think?</span></em></strong></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
