The Rocky in Your Mirror – Drawing a Line in the Sand

Draw Line In Sand

Have you ever had a time in your life where you felt as if your back has been up against the wall?

Perhaps the question should be not if you had a time like this, but how many times you have visited this painted-into-a-corner spot in the room.

I am talking about a time where there appears to be no apparent option at your disposal and you are left fumbling for an answer or a direction in which to turn.

We have all been there at one time or another.

The Rocky in Your Mirror – Facing Your Fears

Dark Night

Life happens to all of us.

One minute we’re up. The next minute we’re down. If those two options don’t suit, we’re a mixture of sideways, upside down, or inside out.

Whatever the case life is unrelenting at times, barely allowing us to breathe.

If we are not careful about how we deal with life’s challenges, they will wear us down.

Our House 1

Part of me really does not want to want to travel the road of writing this post.

A deeper part of me knows I must.

We are told for everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven…a time to laugh and a time to cry…a time to embrace and a time to turn away.”

Whether one is an experienced runner or a novice, completing such is no small feat.

Psalm 23 – An Interpretation

It’s Friday morning, the end of another work week.

I awoke this morning as I was jostled out of a deep sleep at 3:11, yet another reminder of the transition in which Jackie and I are immersed.

With our relocation countdown at “T minus two weeks”, much is stirring on the inside.

As I reflect on the many stages of the journey over the past two years which have led us to this point in our lives, I can with 100% certainty claim I / we have been carried by God and the care of His people.

There really is no other way I can explain it.

It is with absolute conviction I can say – The Lord is my Shepherd, I have all I need in Him!

I invite you to take a moment to reflect with me, drinking deeply of those times He has carried you too.
