Today is Friday, November 15, 2013.  You did not need me to announce this fact to you.  In our family’s timeline, today is no ordinary Friday.  It is a day we have anticipated for a lifetime and one that is now here.

Sorry I have been MIA for the past week or so.   Random thoughts have been swirling in me.

• Two days and counting to the wedding of my daughter, Brittany.
• There’s a lot going on at my workplace.
• The days do not seem long enough to cram it all in.
