<p><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Wooden">John Wooden</a> was arguably one of the greatest basketball coaches, <span style="color: #000000;"><b><i><span style="text-decoration: underline;">or any sports coach for that matter</span></i></b></span>, of all-time.  He coached the UCLA Bruins to 10 NCAA championships in a 12 year period and a record 88 consecutive wins.</p>
<p>I would like to share a quote of his with you that has made a profound impact on my life.  It has stuck with me since I first came across it while listening to an audio program entitled <span style="color: #000000;"><b><i>No Regrets</i></b></span> given by <a href="http://www.johnmaxwell.com/">John Maxwell</a>, a close personal friend of <a href="http://www.coachwooden.com/">Coach Wooden</a> and <span style="color: #000000;"><strong><em>a</em> <i>mentor-by-book(s)-association</i></strong></span> of mine.</p>
<p>The quote appears in a <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0071484353?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=lifaftcol-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=0071484353">book</a> written by John Wooden and Steve Jamison entitled, <strong><span style="color: #800000;"><span style="color: #000000;"><i>The Essential Wooden: A Lifetime of Lessons on Leaders and Leadership</i></span><i></i>.</span></strong></p>
<p>None of us make choices that are 100% correct or “<i>spot on</i>” all of the time.</p>
<p>However, as you read and digest this nugget of truth, <span style="color: #000000;"><strong><em>my hope and prayer is you will allow the process of making choices to open more doors for you than they close </em></strong></span>–as you choose well!</p>
<h3><span style="color: #800000;"><em>&#8220;There is <span style="text-decoration: underline;">A CHOICE</span> you have to make, in everything you do.  So keep in mind that in the end, the choice you make &#8211; MAKES YOU.&#8221;</em></span></h3>
<p><span style="color: #000000;"><em><strong>How can allowing words like this into your bloodstream help you in the process of making wise choices?</strong> </em></span></p>
